Yesterday was Mother Day,
And I was glad that I was at home,
Many things happened and many feelings occured,
I knew yesterday celebration was quite awkward,
Yet I stay quiet out of it.
Followed my parents out to dad's workshop,
Because he wants to place his breakdown Kancil's car,
While me and mum drove another car to fetch him back later,
All along the way back,
My parents told me a lot of things,
Life philosophy and responsible that I shall learn to put on my shoulder.
My parents are awesome person in my life,
They always thought things from my point of view,
They afraid I got hurt and emotional burst out,
Most important my health especially my lungs start pain all past few days,
When I heard whatever touched words from them,
I had the urge to cry out loudly,
But I told myself not to cry because I am grown up now,
I promise dad that I will take my responsibility from now, onwards.
Back to home,
We all were tired and each of us back to own room,
I went to my mum's room to slept,
It supposed tiring day but we had few hours for pillow talk,
It was awesome because is been quite long time I do not spend such time with mum,
Even though my parents usually call me whenever I am at Kampar,
I understand mum's worries and thought,
And I promise my mum that I will always be there for her.
Yesterday I guess God trying to tell me,
And I realize that dad and mum are both old,
Those thought about they are still young and energetic,
Had out of my mind,
Looking at their white hairs and slow moment in thinking all that,
Makes me feel superbly bad,
And I know I should learn well not to make them worry anymore.
*sobs*
I gotta move on from my past,
Face the future,
Not because of anyone,
But is for myself and parents,
My promise to myself.
